Phil and Paul Bingo

Hat tip again to my husband for finding this gem.

Part of the enjoyment we get from watching the Tour de France is the commentary by Phil and Paul, with  "stamping on the pedals in anger" and "suitcase of courage" being two of our favorites.

Star-divide

Then there's Little Miss Echo, Paul Sherwin, who prefaces nearly every comment by repeating Phil's last sentence.   (Obscure "Fast Show" reference, "What did I say, Roy?")

7:30am MST may be a bit early for a drinking game but heck, we have a Tivo like device and do like recording and watching the daily stage over dinner each night.  Heretowit, I present, for your amusement and if so inclined, your drinking pleasure:

Nice job Bethie!
I'll be playing Phil and Paul Bingo from the time "the riders begin, quite literally, their journey to Hell" at the prologue, all the way to "the hallowed cobbles of the Champs Elysees".  I will be "on the rivet" with bingo chips in hand...

This is freaking hilarious! Good job,
Bethie's hubby!

Cosmo, where is your Phil and Paul Drinking Game?  I want to add to it by having to drink every time Phil or Paul say "I must say" to their commentaries.....

Good lord, I'm getting excited.  My husband is going to have to peel me off the ceiling for the next 36 hours.  No caffiene for Ruthie, that's for sure!

Wicked!!
OK, we have to pick a really huge weekend stage and play this.

I was referring to Cosmo's
"cycling.tv drinking game" found at his excellent blogsite www.cyclocosm.com.  I thought that maybe we could adapt it to the TdF on OLN.

Even though I have only been awake for a few hours, and I have to work 8 hours today, I believe that I am ready for a stiff one (or three) already.  I think I'm in shock; don't they recommend a shot of brandy for someone in shock???

Brandy
better have one, just in case.
