Club Kit?

We're in the process of forming a cycling club.

The club I rode with in 2007 had a local company produce our uniforms. The unis were reasonable quality, but we had to purchase everything at the start of the season to achieve the minimum quantities that were required.

That's probably not going to work for us. I'd like to be able to purchase kit through the year as we add more riders.

I'm wondering if anyone out there in Podium Cafe land has experience with club kit purchases.

Indirect experience
There are some folks in the TX scene who really like Champion Systems.

Hincapie is SLOW--and their stuff runs large.

Castelli has been ahead of schedule with producing my current team's stuff.

I like Castelli's stuff
The materials and finish are good.

I checked the Champion Systems site, and the minimum orders are reasonably small (10 items), plus they offer all the bits and pieces--hats, socks, etc...

Champsys
We had problems: Slow delivery, horrible customer service and the stuff tends to fall apart after a few rides.

I've got a Champ-Sys
kit (full zip jersey and bibs), and they seem to be holding up pretty well.  Can't speak to the order/fulfillment stuff, though.

Check out Pactimo
My team uses Pactimo.

Their stuff is comfortable and good quality, nice fabrics, chamois. We pay much less for bib shorts and jerseys than mass market stuff like Pearl Izumi and so forth. And I think the minimum order is 6.

Our club used Pactimo as well
for a couple of seasons.

Pro - They were fast with the order and pricing was very good for bibs and jerseys.

Con - Lots of zipper problems on many of the jerseys , jackets and vests.

Verge
I can't remember who made our kits for the first team I rode for, but we had Verge bibs that I'm still riding in 6 years later. The toughest and most comfortable pad I've ever worn and they show no hint of wearing out.

My club uses Verge
I concur about the bibs.  Outstanding and very cheap.

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
