It's hard to tell from the video
Is there glass along the edge of velodrome, like a hockey rink? If not, it's amazing that the rider didn't launch over the edge.
There's a group that's trying to build a Velodrome here in Cleveland. I'm pretty thrilled by that and hope to do some racing, but don't want to cartwheel through the air.

Nice crash! Psyched nobody was seriously damaged, although if I had those gauges on me it would take me like a year to heal. Ah, I envy the young.
