Technical Development of the Day (so far)

Cycling equipment is pretty much a blur of cold, impersonal carbon fiber these days, but every once in a while a truly thoughtful, revolutionary product rears its head (literally).

My favorite is the bear saddle cover, but Drew and Elvis will likely prefer the goat.

My sources report extensive wind tunnel testing is underway among ProTour teams, who -- having been denied the easy performance enhancements that come in a syringe-loaded cooler -- are looking for speed everywhere possible...

Leg setback...

It's not. But I'll get back to Dr. Mengele after my 10 day fishing/backpacking trip.

Always look forward to deep tissue massage on inflamed muscles. It's a treat.

I can highly recommend

ART (active release technique). It helped me out tremendously after I got hit last fall and was the major reason why I was able to get back on the bike so quickly.

Did that...

We have an elite provider in town. Unfortunately, the problem is more than a sore muscle. Middle of last year the muscle was "fixed" but it took me exactly three hours to flare it up.
