Skype group chat Sunday?

I haven't done one of these before, but I believe it is possible to set up a group Skype conversation. Is there interest in setting one up for the Ronde on Sunday?

I think it might be fun, but it might also detract from the written conversation, which is kind of the point of the site. Anyway, if there is enough interest, I can get something set up and post the info here for Sunday AM. If folks don't use Skype, we can very likely do this w/ a Yahoo!Instant Messenger voice chat or MS Messenger, Aim, Google Talk, what have you. I know that MS messenger works for Mac folks, but if there is a format that works for everyone, I can likely set it up.

So I'm running this idea up the flag to see who salutes.

at some point, that could be really fun.

One way to do it is wait for a lull in the race, see who's on, and round up interest.

I'm unable to watch the race live, but will be

tuning into c.tv and the Podium Cafe on Sunday night to satisfy my addiction. I'm so incredibly disappointed, but family needs come first on Easter Sunday, I'm afraid. Have fun, everyone, and do a great play-by-play; it adds so much to my enjoyment!!!!

Wish I could join you but I'll be away all day. Great idea though and could come in very handy during long tour stages when the banter can really fly.

It didn't work

It didn't work, and I'm not sure why. I'm getting really busy these days, so I'm not really able to allocate the time/mental bandwidth to fully trouble-shoot, but there are a couple things I'll try differently next time. I set it up originally as a private conversation, then was unable to edit that to be publicly available. I'll try again on Sunday, this time as a public conversation..
