Demoncats would drop

pretty much any of them, I’m betting. I used to think that bike cops were self-selecting cyclists. But as I’ve talked to more (and seen the training classes down at Hains), I’ve determined that they’re mostly just poor bastards who pissed off the wrong person and got sent to the bikes.

I think we have two sets.

One set knows their stuff cold. Another group shares my “more spare tire for rider than bike” physique, and I think they may have been given the option of taking a bike route instead of putting in hours at the gym.

Pothole friendly?

And those wheels can pretty much roll over a starbucks double shot can w/o slowing down.

Here's what they ride in DC

Did Smith & Wesson make the bike or do they just sponsor the police?

They sponsort the left and right wing machine guns...

… and beneath the gear lever here you’ll find a little red button; whatever you do don’t touch it. If you do, you will engage and fire the passenger ejector seat.

Ejector seat? You’re joking.

I never joke about my work 007…

Out of context

it looks like you just had a nice little conversation with yourself.

The DC bike cops use fancy handcuff-like locks. They also sink all their energy into those shocks. I’d guess the NYC bikes are a lil easier to get around on…

they also compete with me

for Conti T&C tires (best urban tires you’ll ever use, and about the only efficient thing on the bike . . .).
