Post-Race Fight At Cyclocross Nationals?
Apparently, a group of fans got a little too enthusiastic after the men's elite race at the USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships in Kansas City on Sunday.
There may have been two incidents - but the culprits appear to be the same.
Bicycling magazine's story makes mention (and includes a blurry photo) of a scuffle between "two shirtless, pant-less guys" after Ryan Trebon's win:
Better photos of a (separate?) fight show people being shoved face-first into a pile of bikes. (One of them has been rumored to be Jelly Belly pro Brad Huff.) Those pics are within this slideshow or direct link by clicking here.

Huh
I had no idea we could embed stuff like that. Useful!
(Also, I’d probably have joined in, had those been my bikes those idiots were throwing each other onto. Not cool.)

Yeah I bet Richard Sachs is pissed about his bikes.
Being drunk and unruly is one think, but being drunk and belligerent is another. Fighting in and around of pile of bikes is just stupid. I hope they get a chainring somewhere awful.

Ricahrd Sachs?
I’d like to see the high rez versions, but that second set of pictures looks like the fell into a pile of matching Richard Sachs team bikes.

Jon Page has the low down on the fight
since it seemed to have involved his brother in law

Nice to see it's stated on there now
that Brad Huff was not involved. That was part of the “big story” about it and yet all the pictures people had showing the brawl, I had yet to see Brad in any of them. I will say though – that Brad is crazy. He was out there supporting cross like a mad man. Cut off shorts, no shirt, and his infamous clown wig. Good lord. I’ve seen those pics and one can only hope he didn’t get anything frost bitten. :-)

Brad has chimned in as well.
He was not involved in the brawl of sorts that happened after the race. Brad is a fun rider to talk to and he is pretty awesome in cheering on his friends and teammates. For anyone that hasn’t seen how supportive he can be, check out the pics of him in the link. Hilarious. :-)
