Way of the Cross: A Contest!
A bit too silly for the main column... [editor's note, by chris] Saturday will be quiet, so here's some light fare, reposted.
With four days a few hours remaining before de Ronde, it's still theoretically possible to talk about the race without hushed tones and mental images of suffering. In that spirit, I propose a contest. Five VDS points to the winner. Exhibit A:
The Contest: I know Drew doesn't like to see these hallowed words magled, but I'm sure he'll appreciate the spirit. So, see if you can switch out some of the nouns in Tafi's binary concept to make another true statement, if not quite as grave. An example:
Only those who eat carefully can say that bike racing is not hard. For people who are addicted to Mexican food, it's the Way of the Cross.
