Slippies win in Sarthe!

CVV wins the TT - only 2 seconds behind Tommy V in the overall w/ 2 stages to go. Can we say time bonuses anyone?

I'm so excited for him! I'll provide an update once I get a call back! So sweet! Way to go C!

Time bonuses... hmmmm... I'm liking the TOC plans already!

SlipstreamTwitter -
Christian winning a 9km(short) time trial shows that he's starting to regain some of the explosive power he had when he was younger. JV 35 minutes ago

Our first win in Europe! Congrats to Christian Vandevelde.... Now, let's see if he can get that 1 second back on Voeckler. JV about an hour ago

Sarthe 9 km TT- start list McCarty 15:55, CJ 15:56, Kiki 16:12, Dan 16:21, CVV 16:51, Julian 17:06. Can CVV shake up tight GC? about 3 hours ago

so...
Two VDS races going on at present and this guy wins somewhere else. Tell him to start performing where it counts.

This is at least my second useless win in the last week. Mikhaylo Khalilov was meant to be a useful two-point sprinter in the Italian races, but somehow Ceramica Flaminia managed to hack off RCS so they don't get invited to where it counts. So instead he wins the GP de la Ville de Rennes. And what's worse I put him in ahead of Mirco Lorenzetto, not because I prefer him but because I wanted to use up all my 150 points. Humbug.

My thoughts exactly
Maybe CVV will come through at the Tour for a decent placing, but in the meantime, there are lots of races that count that he should be winning!!!

No VDS for me yet...
So - I will be cheering away for C all day today! He's the first to win one over there for the team this year and that just rocks.

Do the next two stages offer up any time bonuses?

Here's more...
I am a serious fan of his so this is just awesome!

All I remember is Lance winning the Sarthe TT in 1999. Seemed insignificant then. JV about an hour ago

It may seem like the TT at Sarthe is a small win, but if you look at the past winners of this TT and what they went on to do later.... about an hour ago

Comment 12 on the team notes:
Lordy, he just served everyone a plate of Argyle kick-ass.
