Lampre team in the Tour

LAMPRE
   BALLAN Alessandro Italy
   BONO Matteo Italy
   BRUSEGHIN Marzio Italy
   CUNEGO Damiano Italy
   MARZANO Marco Italy
   MORI Massimiliano Italy
   RIGHI Daniele Italy
   SZMYD Sylvester Poland
   TIRALONGO Paolo Italy

Shame that Napolitano is out, seems that the top in Italian sprinting is now out completely, with Petacchi, Bennati and Napolitano missing out on the 2008 edition of Le Tour.

So it's all on Cunego, basically. Let's see how he does. He's got a good support team though, Bruseghin, Marzano, Szmyd and Tiralongo can really help in the mountains. Still fear that his TT will be his achilles.

Napolitano

Yes, very surprised he was left out; kind of a wasted season for him. And yes, this team is doing al they can to back Happy Puppy. Well that kind of single-mindedness is a good thing.

Whenever this happens at any race

the closes armed authority figure should shoot the owner in the ass, as a lesson. And if that seems to harsh then replace gun with taser and ass with face. After a season of corrective measures we’d 100% less incidents of this type.

I dunno what you’d do about horses running into riders (see Zabel, Erik).

Hey!

Don’t go blaming your mother. It’s that lousy education you got.

I blame you

for not getting editing settings for the new site. This is totally, totally your fault.

Sure, but

when has anyone here ever taken what I have to say seriously? You’re just setting yourself up for disappointment ;-)

Might as well announce the Caisse team here:

The nine will be: David Arroyo (ESP), Arnaud Coyot (FRA), Vicente Garcia Acosta (ESP), Ivan Gutierrez (ESP), David Lopez (ESP), Oscar Pereiro (ESP), Nicolas Portal (FRA), Luis Leon Sanchez (ESP), Alejandro Valverde (ESP).

Coyot gets the last available spot, in aid of Valverde’s quest for yellow.

Finally!

That last spot seems like it’s been hanging out there a while. No Karpets?!?

He's a Vlad

You should know that its not easy being Vlad this year.

No JJ Rojas either

He was in the running but didn’t perform in Suisse I guess. The ranks of the sprinters sure are thin this year.

Otherwise this is one serious team. They can look CSC in the eye and beat them.

I smell intrigue

Can he be headed to Tinkoff?

So is this all the teams?

I wanna do a real who’s your VDS team thread.

I think maybe yes

Looks pretty complete to me. VDS-blog away!
