Le Tour Stage 14... LIVE!!
Le Tour Stage 14
To the hills! This stage has breakaway written all over it, and I wouldn't rule out Silence! throwing the yellow jersey away, just to take the spotlight off for a day or so. I got an email from a reader passing on some details from the Aussie press about Cadel's attempt to give the jersey away a few days ago. Those sprint stages were too precious for a break to stay away, but with a couple long climbs today, and the deal going down tomorrow, the motivations could be quite different. If a bunch comes in, then we might see Erik Zabel's last great day on a bike. Actually, that'd be pretty cool. Enjoy!

And to begin with a positive note :)
Sources in the ALFD, French anti-doping authority, has confirmed a third SDV rider tested positive. Source see speculation.. And yeah you said so.. But maybe it isn’t Cobo..

There’s no way they are sticking around now – I think they were done after Piepoli tested positive but this will be the nail in the coffin.

well think about the conniving
duplicity that must be involved with any company that contracts with Corti . . .
And I think that it’s exactly that sort of conniving duplicity-test just enough to make it LOOK like we’re doing something, but have enough targeting to know who NOT to test, hire someone like Millar who’s a vocal anti-doper to provide a screed for the stuff we’re doing behind his back, plant a few trees to create good-will, etc.-is exactly how the sport of cycling has been run for the last 20 or so years.
Asking some of them to tell the plain truth about doping practices would be like asking Spock to think irrationally.

Barloworld
All sorts of industries that one wouldn’t necessarily associate with marketing through cycling sponsorships:
- One of the larger resellers of Caterpillar, Hyster and other heavy equipment
- Subaru car import (Africa, not sure where)
—Car Rental operator (Avis and Budget, can’t remember where)
At least they don’t appear to make cattle gates :)

Robbie Hunter's wife just had a baby girl, that Robbie hasn't seen yet,
so I’m sure he’s eager to get home to meet her. Moises Duenas had better hope that he doesn’t meet up with his former teammates anytime soon; it would be a greater hazzard to his health than any PED he’s ever taken. Idiot.
