Le Tour Stage 16... In the Alps... LIVE!
Le Tour Stage 16

Back into the belly of the beast today. Coverage starts ridiculously early, but it should be worth the effort to get up. Actually, I'd be surprised if anyone besides Sanchez goes on the attack, but I won't be surprised to see some major suffering... possibly decisive suffering too.

So does Fränk S.

Cadel doesn’t need to win though, merely keep Frank and crew in sight, at least for today. Correct? Is Andy far enough back that they can let him go?

correct.
I don’t think Andy is far enough to let him go

Good morning, all.
To US viewers: anyone else having trouble with their VS channel? I’ve got a picture that’s falling apart, and no audio. I’m used to that on my computer, but not my tv!? Apparently JB just gave a quick recap of how good of a team CSC is, and is now talking about CVV. C’mon, VS, get your act together this morning!!!

Not exactly offering A+ analysis on Versus this morning. Did you guys know he led Lance Armstrong to seven tour victories? I hadn’t heard that before.

Good morning everyone, or is it still night?
Marc Sergeant of *Lotto says. “We are going to keep an eye on the other favourites and maintain control. We are going to stay by the yellow jersey.”
(That is Cadel is going to do all those things, the rest of the team will be nice and comfy in the autobus. These guys better step up ‘cause it’s looking a lot like they are working hard at protecting Wim in his battle for the Lanterne Rouge)
