Eye Candy - Olympic Style

It appears that we are getting a slow down in opening - certainly not in postings - of our "eye candy - take two", which spun nicely from our "Time to Hunt Down Hotitude" thread done earlier. With the Olympics very quickly approaching, I think now is a good time to open one up for Olympic enjoyment. Feel free to include others besides cyclists.

Darn, and I'm a few words short. Let's include inspiration -

Olympic motto: "Citius, Altius, Fortius." Latin for "Swifter, Higher, Stronger".

Thanks for the post Zoe!

And because I am relentless – C is living here in Lemont, not Boulder anymore. :-) I’m not sure why several sites still list him in Boulder but they do. I’m happy he’s here but the winter training in our weather bites sometimes!

Women's Road and TT

I believe Christine Thorburn and Amber Neban are riding with Armstrong….and Throburn to to do the TT as well.

Could you see them riding that for the RR? Wow.

Now “that” would be an experience.

let me rephrase

it’s the view from the course, not a pic of the course. :)

Tour of the Great Wall

a 6,700 km race from Shanhaiguan to Lop Nur, along the southern edge of Inner Mongolia. Don’t worry about the missing parts of the Wall. We will hike those during transfers cyclo-cross style. Each rider is responsible for carrying their bike, clothing, personal hygiene and doping products during transfers. Mechanics and staff will pack the spare wheels, chains, tools, etc. and sogneirs are responsible for the packing of all food and drinks. Directors must handle the mapping and make sure all team members find the next start line.

And you thought the Giro transfers were rough!

Now I'm sorry this has nothing to do with the Olympics but...

....I’ve just wasted a good half an hour of my working day examining, closely, the website of Eros Capecchi. Has anyone else noticed him?!
