Worst tour favourites preview ever!

Sorry VeloNews, but this is just weak. Usually I'm a fan of your work, but this is embarassing.  Between the mentions of Jullich, questions about Team High Road's leader Mick Rogers health, and the superb support that Valverde will get from Karpets it certainly seem to me that this preview was written between 6-8 weeks ago...come on guys surface mail is so 1990's.  Here, let me give you a hand....take a look at this before you write your preview next time.

weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak...that should do it.

Interesting

that no one there is willing to take responsibility for it either. Their maillot vert preview clearly states that it was written by Wilcockson. But the GC preview mentioned here is written by…”The Editors of VeloNews”

Given the content it was written looong ago

They probably can’t remember who did it.

Maybe

“editors” there is more like the spellcheckers.

Wiat...there's more

i think the commercial cycling media all got together and smoked a lot of crack last night. In CN’sreport of Savoldelli’s announcement that he will retire after this season they report that:

Savoldelli is currently with Team Astana

Seriously, they are making it look like the internet doesn’t exist or something. Sheesh.

See, if it was jsut gratuitous typing errors, like those found in blogs (see above) it would be fine.

si....

this velonews thingy is always way out of date and not very useful. but it sells a lot of ads, so guess it’s good for something.

savoldelli riding for astana? heh. does bruyneel write for cn now? with all the headline whoring that dude does, he probably slipped that one in. nice work cn…

So, we need more photos, outdated info… then I’ll be swimming in cash?

I think Maurice Garin has a good chance this year

Solid allrounder, the parcours should fit him.Maybe the stages are a bit short?
Brand new bike for the Tour as well:

Now watch the revenues soar.
