I’m pretty sure that it will be blocked in all of the US. NBC has exclusive rights to the Olympics in the US and has agreements to block content.

To avoid traffic on the route (since it’s two laps of the circuit), the organizers have the racers starting in groups. We have 3 more to go in group 1.

Then, there will be no more starters for 42 minutes, to give the racers time to get off the route before the next group begins.

So that means bedtime for me. I thought it’d be done by earlier but not with those big breaks. Have fun all!

Canadian Content

Svein Tuft won three national TT’s in a row, then Ryder Hesjedal won it last year, which was good, since he could be part of that Slipstream Giro TTT squad with multiple national jerseys, but he couldn’t defend the title since he was racing Le Tour, and Tuft took the jersey back. Now they’re both racing here today and it looks like Tuft is going to take national honors. That’ll probably be a surprise to a lot of people, especially after Hesjedal’s large performance in the final TT in the Tour.
