Vacation is over... and there was much rejoicing! [Parents out there who've done cross-country plane trips know what I'm saying.] Thanks to all for holding down the fort. I am no longer sick of reading or writing about cycling. Should be an excellent week.

just in time for you to enjoy the GP de Plouay or an ENECO sprint. They are not exactly the most interesting races of the season but it’s all we got until Deutschland and the Vuelta.

www.cyclingfans.com has some live feeds for ENECO, but still nothing for Plouay.

The weather for Plouay is pretty rough

rain (not heavy but still not wanted) and only 19C. Just under 60k to go and the peloton have things well under control. A break of 9, including Moreau, got about 3 mins before being pulled back to about 30s. Voeckler then bridged across with someone else and tried to pull a couple off the front. No-one wanted to let him go and he just ended up towing the other 10 riders for a couple of k. The break lead is now down to under 20s and the race proper about to start.
