Here's hoping.

I was thinking he may need the Vuelta to prove his form though, having had such a disrupted season. Ballerini doesn’t seem to think it’s a sprintery course from what I’ve read but I imagine Benna would be a useful team rider if nothing else. I so want to see him in azzura! We could always write a little letter to Ballerini of course……now there’s a thought!

Ballerini has said that it isn’t a course for Benna to win, but he also really likes him as a rider and has not ruled out selecting him to play a supporting role. Probably a long-shot pick at this point, given the wealth of talent available, but hard to say for sure.
