FROM LANCES MOUTH TO YOUR EARS - HE'S BAAACK

Being a fan of the Lancemeister, I have to say....COOL !!! Even Contador is excited to race with ( read "for" ) him. I guess it pays to read the non-cycling press too eh ?! Let the love, hate and everything in between spew forth, cause no matter what you personally may think ( or believe ya know ) about L.A. being a doper in his past, if he wins in 2009 on a clean bill o' health there's gonna be crow and humble-pie enough for all who need a bite to gnash on. Sweeeeeeeeeet.

Can we dispense with the idea...

…that Lance won all those Tours clean? Are any of the prominent writers on this site going to stand up and say they believe Lance was clean? Elvis? Chris? Juris? Gavia?

And, if he fooled us all those years, why do we think he won’ t fool us again. I wish he would go away.

Old news

This subject was actually banned because it had been discussed so much, and tended to devolve into frustrating, unanswerable arguments. I’d say most people think he wasn’t clean. But that’s about all I want to say. I know, it’s not great for newcomers to be told people don’t want to talk about something of this magnitude, so if there are people who want to reopen this subject, have at it. Not me, though.

It's a bit like debating Marmite

Everyone just ends up shouting at everyone else and no-one ever changes their mind. You can probably find some of the arguments if you wade through the archives, but why bother. There are a whole lot of more constructive topics in there that would better reward your time. If you want intelligent then read the bit about women’s bikes. You won’t find anything similar anywhere else.

Marmite.

Why?

(I think I’ve got a 14 year old jar in the pantry. I am sure that nothing is stronger than it.)
