What does a Nobel Peace Prize winner ride?
Rosalynn and Jimmy Carter's bikes were stolen earlier this month from the Carter Center in Atlanta.
In case you were wondering both the former President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Carter and his wife rode Specialized Globe with a rear-wheel hub containing eight gears. retail price: $1K

Terrible, but
How can they have a picture of Carter and not the bikes? I know what Carter looks like anyway.

I can tell you that the latest Nobel Peace Prize winner,
Mr. Ahtisaari does not ride, he can barely walk…
Yeah, but he'd only use it to make peace between Egypt and Israel...
… or house the homeless or some bullshit like that. He wouldn’t actually USE it man!
Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc.
pretty awesome ride for the Carters :)
One of the few bikes that’s 1. practical, 2. not astronomically priced, and 3. American-branded.
Rack, fenders, dynamo lights, chain guard… yes, the bicycle as transportation. Remember that? ;)

Woow.. A bike how gets stolen?!
Happens to me… each year!.. But I admit.. I can buy 8 bikes from the money of 1 Carter bike.. But I also admit.. I probably have less money than a former Nobel price winner and a former president..
Some say the best things in life, are one the inside.
I other (almost) former president news,
Bush is very much looking forward to getting out on his mountain bike…..
Adrian Fenty, Cat 4 racer and...
Mayor of DC took Obama to Ben’s Chili Bowl on U St and introduced him to the Ali’s family DC institution. He had the the half-smoke with chili!
Hopefully, soon we’ll see him on a road bike!
