hello

today is one more busy stage?

by semprenaroda on Jan 22, 2009 6:12 PM EST reply actions

Perhaps

but I expect them to save energy for Willunga Hill, seeing there’s not much of a hill to make a real difference today.

I’m mainly saying this because it’s not weekend yet, so I can’t stay up to follow the race. :( but tomorrow :D

Wind is forecast at 14 mph so not windy like yesterday

stage preview at cyclingfans.com says there is a 2.5% incline at the finish.

by ZoeRochelle on Jan 22, 2009 6:33 PM EST reply actions

Wind: I enjoyed seeing the echelons

from yesterdays video highlights, yeah it was windy out there like Benelux in Feb/Mar. So cool.

Now, just so we’re all on the same page, the neutral zone is exactly that. Neutral. Nobody is in front, nobody is behind, nobody is anybody. This means that Lance Armstrong (Astana) is in the exact same spot as everyone else. I couldn’t count the amount of e-mails I received during yesterday’s neutral asking if he’d attacked yet…”

Better than me. I keep playing with mine.

Sad really, as I pretty much know the roster I want and will end up (hopefully) in the middle of the pack with a team I just love cheering for.

We usually put up a thread the day they’re due, or right after and share, brag, tease, etc.. :-)

Lime does go well with Tequila

But I’d settle for lemonade if it were available

NOt very common here - just better

Only can get it at the local Mexican place run by a family from Tiajuana. How they ended up here in the middle of nowhere is interesting.

I think I had it down in Mexico.

If it is one in the same, good stuff indeed.

Have a good night all.

Need to get to bed. I’m sure next week the early calls and meetings will be nowhere. I thought I had them trained last year but I guess they may need a refresher on the cycling calendar.

Have a good night peterfish!

I was trying to help out a bit but....

had friends over and they weren’t exactly the cyclingfan types. But they did bring nice beverages.
