CYCLEGIRLS TDU SNAPSHOTS

Hi all,

Well i finally made it home from an amazing TDU. Sorry i was slack on getting on here but there was drinking, cycling and meeting riders to do. Also my computer was playing up.

Well i thought you all might like a quick look at some of my photos from the TDU. I have over two hundred but i'll just put a few up.

Firstly, i'll tell you about a few of the highlights.

#1 Having dinner with Team Columbia at the After Party at the Hilton, ZoeRochelle, George was sitting right across from me and i was thinking about you.

#2 Meeting Lance, Oscar and a few of our hotties from the Hotittude thread.

#3 Then going to the real after party in town, Oh My, so much fun was had there.. and not telling any secrets.

#4 Watching albi take out the TDU, great to see an aussie win, oh and having a Champagne shower thanks to the quickstep team..

Ok time for photos.

Fabulous. Do tell more. And can i just add that you and Jens! look like a married couple right there?!

by Albertina on Jan 26, 2009 9:21 AM EST reply actions

Sweetness!

Flatbagger totally(!) took care of us on the race report and such. You my dear, are totally taking care of us on the riders department. Love the top of the dress you finally decided on. Can’t wait to hear more about it. :-) How cutie Adam?

And I agree with Albertina, you and Jens! wow. Ruthann will be very jealous.

Oh. My. GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t even breathe, I am SO jealous!!!! At the risk of succumbing to fangirl-ness: please, please, tell us more! Did you happen to mention how we worship him here at the PdC?

Seriously, I'm all discombobulated here...

I have put years of worship into him, and you got a HUG. Oh, be still, my heart! I am so glad he was kind and funny, I just knew he would be….

Nikki, girl, it’s up to you at the TofCA – you must get a hug, too!!!

Yes, i did tell him about the PdC group, he thought it was pretty cool, and said he may go and have a look.. hehehehe I also showed him the road tagging that my sister did, which made him laugh. We talked for ages about lot’s of things ;-)

I better quickly stick a guy comment in here before we get swamped . . .

CycleGirl I am sooo happy for you.
Looks like you grabbed some SexyBack there in the Jens photo, what a hug BABY !
LOL from Don (and by-the-way, whenever for the past many weeks ladies I have said LOL it has meant Lots-of-Love, my son so laughed at me the other day when I showed him a thread, he said DAD, lol means laugh-out -loud !) I wikipedia’d lol, and he is right, whoops on me, however also wikipedia saved me sorta, by saying also lol historically meant “lots of love”

by peterfish on Jan 26, 2009 12:39 PM EST reply actions

Hey wait...

I use it both ways. I use LOL as both laugh out loud and lots of love. It always seems to fit and which ever makes most sense is the one I’m inserting. I didn’t realize that it’s not good for both. Oh well. Just know I will continue to use it for both.

LOL and lol

( or was that lol and LOL ? )
yes I went back and looked over some podcaf lol’s and it seemed to me both intentions were there, so yup it makes sense that both are right, and it doesn’t matter ! Neither are negative, both are positive, so LOL away !

Give it time Nikki

say round about Flanders, when it’s the middle of the night in Australia, the bottle is getting a little low and Dan is on his 3rd beer before breakfast. A couple of Aussies are in the early break, the conversation drifts and bingo.

I’m sure though that the rest of us will settle on the topic for some good fun though!

I'm sure if i could have conned someone

I would have been up there. I did get to hold Allans Ass for about 2 minutes when the photo of him with the team and flags was getting taken, had to help him up, only place to put hand was well the ass!!! Hey he didn’t mind it was either mine or a bloke.

Eh

We’re not going there. I know, you’re not being judgmental at all, but any real discussion of the topic is too prone to invasions of privacy. And anyway, don’t Europeans do man-hugs? Or is that just a Northwest thing?

In Italy

it’s very very common to see men walking arm in arm down the street with their friends. Just in a sort of BMF way (or should it be BFM – it’s so easy to lose track of what all these damned acronyms mean).

by Monty. on Jan 27, 2009 8:28 AM EST up reply actions

I'll give you a big hug flatbagger.

I don’t care who is or isn’t “the topic”, and a hug is a hug, so LOL to you too!

and make the guys here drool… :-)

So what's George like in real life (as opposed to my fantasy life)? Do tell!

He always seems so unassuming and a man who only says what is needed and not a word more in interviews. Of course, the media probably makes them act different. Do tell!

by ZoeRochelle on Jan 26, 2009 10:15 PM EST reply actions

George looks you straight in the eye when you talk..

It was very funny as I had a few wines and was actually calling him “Georgie Baby”, he was laughing, and i mentiond PdC. Bernhard Eisel didn’t say much, but Adam Hansen was amazing..

This is borderline abuse girl.

I think we girls all need to be able to sit down and have some wine and “discuss” these matters. And just HOW amazing was Mr. Hansen?!? You so need to share some more.

You're a changed woman Cyclegirl

Corioni did sod all during the TDU….he looked like he was here for a holiday and from the look of that photo he probably got a little too much of the Adelaide Corioni’s home grown produce if you know what i mean wink wink.

Corioni did sod

Hey he was there for the Hotittude value, I was happy. That photo was taken on the last day after Chichi won, so he is allowed to look a little ruffled.. I tought he looked hot, and let me tell you the Liquigas Team, smelt sooooo nice. Couldn’t understand anything that they were saying but hey they looked good.

As for changed women, I’ll Never Change ;-) The closer you get, less is told.
