Lucky the TDU wasn't a week later on the calendar, it hasn't been below 80 degrees F all week and that includes at night.  We've had two days over 45 and five over 40.

I was out training during the night this week and there were heaps of guys out doing the same thing....riding in the still of the night when its 90 degrees is an experience to behold.  It's been a small moon and on one part of my rides there was a power failure and mine and another two cyclist lights were the only lights on a long straight section of suburban highway....bizarre!

So....does anyone having any suggestions of beating the heat when riding...fan on the bars is a bit pointless but maybe there are water misters you could mount or ice suits you could don...there's no end in sight to this heatwave Im going crazy....I just can't bear to see one more semi naked cyclist on the road....Lance is to blame, I hate semi naked cyclists!!! Wear a shirt for goodness sakes!!
