OT: The Klamath Salmon will be free to run again!
Is this a small victory for our fearless leader? I mean, if the California salmon can run free don't the Washington salmon deserve the same?

Wow...
That IS off-topic. Except for me, of course. I have had some involvement in this matter, just enough to say 1) that the people who have had the REAL involvement (many people, not me) are incredible; and 2) I probably can’t say much more than that. This will be great for California though, especially the tribes and fishing communities.

As for the Washington salmon...
I note that there is no 5 million-person metropolitan area in the Klamath basin. But hey, we’re working on it.

True about the population and their water needs.
I’m thinking its much harder to remove a dam up there because of that.

oh, and notice nobody commented for almost 2 days until you noticed it.
So as for way off topic- could be the most off topic fanpost in cafe history. :-)

Sometimes we have to wait for Chris to toot his own horn before we jump in.
YAY fish!
The first cyclist to stand up to him. And he did it in silence.

I mean, tshawytcha.
But tshawytcha meant tshawytscha, so it comes to the same thing.
