Jens, a statement like that needs illustration.

Most helpful, of course, would be a “do” and a “don’t” in one shot:

Yes...

As far as I'm aware there are none on his front.

When designing posters I am always told not to mix too many fonts. I think Pippo has mixed four at last count….

Alrighty

Can anyone tell me what wisdom is imprinted on the inside of Pippo’s left arm? I’ve noticed that a few times, but have never seen a clear enough pic…

(of course, it may be that ignorance is preferable – but I’ve been curious for a while…)

Um, I unfortunately know this about Pozzato...

Those are Japanese characters who syllables mean “Chiara”, the name of the woman that he has been with since like 2004.

Are you people forgetting the CancĂşn Criterium, Gran Premio de CancĂşn?

It is scheduled to be October 14. Contador, Freire, SamSan, and Valverde are scheduled to be there; also rumored to be participating are Cancellara, Cavendish, Menchov, and the Schlecks but I am skeptical about any of them attending, especially Menchov.

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
