I blame the ... Amateur cyclist caught in out of competition test.
A week or 10 days ago there was a featured story about where the kids stand in regards to drug use, and is the situation improving. The USADA went looking for this amateur for out of competition testing, is that a good sign or bad. I'm thinking it's good they caught him and good they went after him and sad there was a need.

It is really sad
I too am glad they tracked him down. From reading the articles it was no coincidence they netted him either which would mean that they were tipped off. That is a good thing in my opinion as it indicates some people were not too happy to being beaten by a cheat.
Thank you for returning to my life cross season!

It is so stupid that Cat 1's dope...
and think they can get away with it. Especially when they win everything locally and never go and race nationally. I know that there are many Cat 1 racers who do it clean and make a good amount of money doing it but it sucks when you have guys like this or Joe Papp, another famous case of Cat 1 dope.
Being 19 myself and trying my hand at racing, it seems idiotic that people would try to gain an advantage at such a lower level of competition. I like when I race well and get prize money but I wouldn’t try to pop some pills to cheat my friends out of money.

This guy has ridden in some races against the Garmin and Livestrong squads.
Maybe he just wanted to get noticed, hopefully these organizations do appropriate testing before contracts are final.
