His whole dilemma is that he would have to give up his dual citizenship
and couldn’t get it back, which is something the UCI should really not get involved with, if someone wants to have a dual citizenship let them as long as he rides for only one of the nations.
Dammit Elk! I don't care if it's your mating season, you are disturbing my peaceful sleep! Just STFU!

I utterly agree
and meant no disrespect to GHH’s situation. The UCI could solve this easily by allowing one switch per career, or ten-year period, or whatever term they think is useful. Demanding a rider give up citizenship is out of line.

Less teeth than you think, perhaps.
The US demanded that I give back my Swiss citizenship, basically as soon as I got the Swiss citizenship.
So I (pro forma) sent off my passport with the appropriate explanation (namely that I was required to do so, against my personal preferences), and the Swiss gov’t (pro forma) sent the passport back to me, stating that they did not recognize the right of the US government to make that demand.
So everyone is happy.
For it to work for GHH, it would require both governments to play along, and tweak the UCI’s nose, instead of playing sore loser. Might work. “Guys, I tried, but they won’t let me!”
Maybe you can attach a little rubber band to Barbie-barbie’s passport, as a sort of voodoo charm? Like a paddleball ball?

The US requires you to give up other citizenships after you’ve gained US citizenship, but have no real power to make you do so. At least from my experience.

How much does this complete Barbie playset cost?
Oh, love the vintage Barbie!

Barbie Barbie-Barbie Barbie playset is not available in stores!
Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. I expect there’ll be more scenes from the barbie and other things in store for BB—I might even try to get something new done weekly, at least until we all get bored. Or the new season starts and there’s real live racing again. :-)

Sounds like fun...but has HH ever done Amstel Curacao?
I think I would remember seeing him with dolphins. On the other hand, if we do the playset, maybe the race organizers will see what they’re missing and invite him.

He certainly is more visible than to the audience than Olive Oyl-skinny climbers.
