Friday O/T
Today's Topic - Movie roles
I'm too lazy to throw a poll up, so I leave it to our learned audience to decide the following: Who had the best cameo, un-credited role, or very small role in a movie? I list my favorites, which you can vote on, or you can include your own.
Brad Pitt in True Romance
Philip Seymour Hoffman in The Big Lebowski (can't find a F***ing clip)
PSH again, Almost Famous (you have to wait for it)
Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder
Discuss.

I am completely biased
toward anything PSH does. Well, except maybe his squirmy 25th Hour role, and that really depressing movie about his wife’s suicide, but he was so great in Mr. Ripley and Charlie Wilson’s War that I don’t care.

Did see Michael Palin on the BBC Culture Show last night where he said that he played a small role in the movie that got cut in the editing room. According to him, probably because he made Tom Hanks look wooden.

Ask yourself this: could someone else have done the Harrison Ford role? Now how about Hopper’s?

It gave you a real good feel for the whole course, I wish every race could have such a documentary done. You could almost use it as a study for riding the course. The German was truly stunning..
Can we nominate him here or was his ‘play’ to big? And the French was ok.. Not very good..
The basement scene was also beautiful. He brought it very slow to a climax. I know he do that in all his movies but this was the first one I really liked of Tarentino

The part he 'played' was too big for nomination here, but he was spectacular
Agree not only about the basement scene but also Tarantino. I’ve always hated that much violence, even though it’s satirical, but in this film everything was so amazing, I coped with the gore. The basement scene was unbelievably suspenseful.
