Thanks for posting this in a different light.

I was surprised to read he almost quit so early, but then I wasn’t sure he would last the the whole tour either. I guess in a sense JB was making a commitment to LA at that time, his life could have been less complicated if he let LA walk away.

How did LA make the Tour more exciting?

At least the racing part of it? His “dramatic” break on stage 3? His lame “attack” on the Petit St. Bernard? Or the way he got his tush wooped on the final TT? As you can probably tell I strongly dislike LA and wish he would just retire already. I understand that his entourage must go out of their way to kiss his butt and proclaim that he’s the second coming, etc. But when people outside of his circle always commend him for making the sport better I just shake my head. That’s like saying Michael Jordan made the NBA better when he returned to play for the Washington Wizards. Anyway rant over, lol

Pardon me

But have been designated poster in charge of protecting Lance’s honor? LOL! You’re obviously a pretty smart guy but I think in all my months observing here I’ve rarely seen you comment on anything that doesn’t concern Lance. Just curious, how did the idol worship originate? j/k lol

Are you related to Yakko?

You seem to post in similar fashion: always including 1 or 2 links to velonazis.com.

Have you seen some of their "polls"? lol

They basically want to force feed the Lance love fest down everyone’s throat. Lance is not a cuddly lovable figure, he’s quite possibly the biggest jerk that ever rode a bike professionally. (And personally I think even he would acknowledge that) Everyone has respect for the man’s accomplishments, but that’s where the love fest ends.
