Yah

been meaning to post about this. I can’t tell how I’m supposed to feel about it. So it’s closer to the worlds… do you want to be in SC a few days before the worlds start, assuming they’re in, oh, Europe or Melbourne?

There was an interesting comment...

by Hincapie…he stated that he is real excited to be racing again in SC, ToM, the pro tour races in Canade, and lastly the world championships….

Sure

he rolls out his front door in Greenville. But what does this do for, say, Farrar? Is he supposed to go from Belgium to Greenville to Melbourne?

I know what you are saying...

but for me the surprise was him basically saying he was going to worlds.

Ah, I see

Might be a good course for Hink.

might have been more helpful for the past two seasons.

The courses were hillier and more like Greenville.
I would hope that some of the competitors would actually show up at worlds instead of skipping. The US team has not been very well represented. And hopefully they make an effort to help Tyler if it is going to be a sprinters course.
As far as the transfers go from Europe to South Carolina to Australia, pffft. They just need to do the Giro this year, it’ll be a piece of cake after that mess.

Yeah I don't know how this will make things much better...

The Elite Men’s race is 2 weeks after this so even if they flew straight to Melbourne after this I don’t think they would be on top form

i'm just glad it's not in may as originally rumored...

that wouldn’t have worked in my schedule!

George bunny-hopped my bike somehow. He's like a cat. -- cvv

Sorry if confused

isn’t there a week when every country does their championships …. and the USA was only major outlier last year …. and next year?

I know …. travel …..

yes

Everyone else does it in June before the Tour. That would be difficult for the Tour riders, as the National Week is the week before the Tour.
