Hey

‘Non-dollar people’? I have dollars; they are just different dollars.

They’re made of plastic, for a start.

I'd mock his funny money

but I’m still recovering from the sting of that exchange rate . . .

What are the terms related to this cost?

Is this cost Ex Works?
F.O.B?
F.A.S?
D.E.Q?

What supplier are you intending to work with?
What are your minimums?
What are your billing Terms with that Supplier?

Read the post

For now, I’m only looking for the price range that people are willing to spend on clothing. That will allow us to choose vendors and choose the right products for the community.

by Jen See on Nov 13, 2009 11:30 AM EST up reply actions

Ok, so . . . .

. . . . the unit cost of manufacturing should be about $10-15 USD with an EX-Works price probably less then $30 USD.
If you are going to add a Gross Profit of 30% in order to cover the logistics of this project your Retail Price should be about $45 USD for the Jersey.

Now, if you intend to create a standardized method to ship the product from a warehouse location presumably in the US, the cheapest would probably be USPS.

So, your total cost Retail Cost FOB would be about $50-60 bucks depending on shipping location.

Give or take . . .

Please note: these costs are a bit highballed because I am assuming the minimums will be pretty low.

Full zip, please

Having just placed our club’s order for 2010 I know what a pain folks are with “suggestions”. So, sorry about that.

:)

Any ideas on the vendor? We work with Capo for our club kits. I love their gear.

Not yet

But we will look at Capo. They do make nice clothing.

We need some numbers before we can really look hard at the vendor choice.
