Slow News Day

Light blogging from me today. I can report that mussels and frites go together well with Leffe Bruin. Crashdan is in town, my best excuse to go out for Flemish food. I also have a speech to give later. Gavia, meanwhile, is lord knows where. And there is no news, unless you insist on talking about Dave Rebellin's expected Polemica Olympica.

If you're in Seattle, come out tonight for An Evening with Tyler Farrar, at Magnuson Park. Deets here. If you're in Park City, go hunting around for George Hincapie and his new bike. He and the BMC boys are getting outfitted somewhere in town. The kind of tall guy with big lips and rainbow jewelry is Ballan. Give him our best.

In the meantime, the Wednesday Comment, which shows a distressing tendency to publish on time, is up at Cyclingweekly. Good readings, as usual. I really liked the “no winner” argument from Birnie here. Linky, cyclingweekly.

There will be Sesh.

You may have to eat a few more cookies. It’s going to be a bit late with the Sesh this week.

Today I had stuff. Tomorrow, I have train with no interwebs. Maybe after the train. Or, maybe the next day. Too bad I forgot my crayons or we could have had the crayons on the train Sesh. But I have no crayons.

Reading that BMC was going to be in Park City reminded me of the article on CN I read last week that

Katusha was having a training camp this week in Turkmenistan. That team really confuses me.

Other news includes Nelson Oliviera signed with Xacobeo, Jean Christophe Peraud (French TT champ) signed with Lotto, BMC got invited to do 2 weeks of desert fun in Qatar and Oman, and Bergamo is starting a bid to go for the 2015 World Champs.
