The Men's A Flight Under Deteriorating Conditons

Early racing took place under fair skies.  Later racers got to experience plummeting temperatures and increasingly winter-like conditions.

Racing was tight all day.  The Cannondale-MonaVie squad showed well despite finishing the Ruta De Conquistadores in Costa Rica the previous week.  Local cross power-house Church Of the Big Ring took home top honors with Ali Goulet in Men's A and Art O'Conner in Masters 35+A racing.

Yeah our venues aren't all that great.

Wheeler Farms today is better, more like a mountain bike course. Still no mud.

Was at Wisconsin's Series Today

State Championship series or whatever they call it in Milwaukee county. Mid-50’s temps (12 C or so) sunny and gorgeous. Not quite right for cross! But the sweat was flying. The fast guys seemed to be going good as opposed to the stronger guys. A good cross weekend for all I think. I jogged around instead … oh well. No mountains in the background!

Still waiting for our first dusting of snow over here in Germany

Rode my bike to work this morning and go pelted by small ice crystals so we can’t be that far off. Great pics, especially of the mountains. Utah is awesome. About now I am missing Tucson.

Fun pics!

We have our state championships 12/6 down on the lake front. Last year it was single digits with some light fluries. I’ve been missing out taking pics this season as I’ve been offiicalling instead. This year the weather has been pretty superb on Sunday with few complaints on weather. We are not expecting the same in 2 weeks.

Marrk you should come down if you’re not busy. The afternoon races will not disappoint with the fun being had. Something you have to experience if you can. :-)

I'm ready for this road season to wrap up. Bring on Cross!
