Utah Cyclocross Series Day 9
Historic Wheeler Farm. A twisty, scenic romp through a recreated settlement era Utah farmstead.
The racing featured Air Gillespie (Mona-Vie/Cannondale)....
and Air Goulet (Church Of The Big Ring) en-route to a second convincing win for the weekend.
Some twisty single-track as demonstrated by series promoter Matt Ohran (Mona-Vie/Cannondale),
and Erica Powers (Revolution-Peak fasteners) ran away with a second victory for the weekend to compliment her new State Champion title.
Also in attendance, Alex Grant (Mona-Vie/Cannondale) fresh off a second place showing at La Ruta De Los Conquistadors where he rode away from such notables as Roberto Heras.

I especially like the photo w/ Erica Powers
Surprising. Probably not the kind of thing you want to do all day when you are trying to sell photos to racers.

Looked cold - was it?
Also, are the tops of those barriers padded? Looks a little suspicious to me ;-)
I mean uh... hasn't that ever occurred to you, man? Sir?

It was windy and cold.
Our barriers are shorter than UCI standard. They also have a steel frame, so there is a piece of PVC pipe to protect high $$ bottom braket shells…

The former pro snowboarder? I really liked his riding when I was a little grom on the hill.
