Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni - Androni Giocattoli not shortening their name after all
A while back it was reported that Androni Giocattoli would take over full sponsorship of this team next season, making a team name that would at last fit on a shirt. But today Lino Diquigiovanni, owner of window company Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni announced that they would after all be staying on as a secondary sponsor. So it's goodbye to Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni - Androni Giocattoli and hello to new team Androni Giocattoli - Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni. Doesn't that make perfect sense.

Bah!
Not only do we still have to spell it, but they reversed it! I think they hate me.

They really ought to go with
Androni Giocattoli – Serramenti PolyVinylChloride Diquigiovanni
Also they could snazz up their jersey by printing the first three chapters of “War and Peace” on it. I thought it looked a little barren this year.

I quite liked
that “classified ads” style. And the feeling that if I ever needed to rent a flat or buy a second hand car I knew a place to look.

Can we just call them AGSPD?
Oh heck, I can’t even remember that!
