Futuristic bicycle
Apologies if this has been posted before I did not find it in a site search. I would own one of these bikes just to look at it, let alone ride.

Looks great but . . . .
. . . . in reality it is in fact not functional as the friction from the bearings in the wheels would be enormous.
There is more, but I just wanted to point that one out.

You Tube has quite a few videos of these hubless wheels
mostly on motorbikes. Well mostly on choppers, which gives a massive hint as to how lousy the performance actually is.

and the I have no idea how that thing is theft proof because when people know that is made of carbon fiber it will be gone.

is a bit of a misnomer, in my opinion.
The concept is that the wheels would be locked and unable to rotate unless unlocked by the owner’s fingerprints. Theoretically rendering the bike useless if stolen. However, fingerprint readers are very easy to spoof.
