Thanks for posting that.
For those in a hurry:
Jan 12-14: Valverde’s appeal on the Italian ban.
March 18-21: UCI/WADA contesting the Spanish Federation’s decision not to open disciplinary proceedings against Valverde.
Yeah, it's dragged on a long time, but it's still an important case.
Could have far-reaching consequences in terms of who has jurisdiction over whom.
Another interesting case
Belgian court decided to suspend the ban of two tennis players who both failed to report their whereabouts three times.

I was looking for something more on that
because it wasn’t clear (to me anyway…) on what basis the Belgian court saw fit to suspend the bans. I do wonder whether the whereabouts system’s going to be sustainable in the long term, unfortunately.
Not just in terms of jurisdiction
Apparently CONI have samples not just from the notorious bag 18, but from 41 other bags. And they’ve also had a few months to make sure that the paperwork is completely in order.
Good to know they're prepared.
And that’s sort of what I meant—if CAS okays what they did with Valverde, then they (or other federations that so choose) will be free to go after other riders that aren’t of their own federation.
So young and yet so cynical...
