I'm so
excited about this. I have been saying for years that Yahoo and Google needed to join the pro scene. I’m crossing my fingers that one of my favorite domestic riders is going to riding for them.
maybe google will start a rival team.
"Ants don’t worry, they operate like a fantastic team, they accept obstacles and deal with them in a positive manner, they don’t complain and remain positive. An ant doesn’t work on emotion, is proactive and always chooses the ant role."
from what i hear...
…their riders are always crashing.

What was that?
I heard a faint cry in the direction of Redmond…

That'd look better
if they replaced the white background with ‘BSoD blue’
Leave it to you
to find those gems! Yahoo! will be purple.

I remembered the one from Google
because I saw it once on an official Google merchandising/apparel page. Oh right, it’s still there; funny how that page didn’t show up in a google search, d’oh!
I know something Microsoft-related existed because there is (was?) a South-African cycling team sponsored by Microsoft.
Let's play the rider guessing game
1. Two current professional road riders
2. Members of the Under 23 National Team
3. Two-time Olympian
Well I was hoping
Burke would be one of the Pro road riders but I don’t think it will be him. I think he will be going to another start up team.
I am hijacking this thread
post up in a few minutes…

Oh, side note, re: that CN article...
…will someone please explain to their writers that if you’re going to regurgitate the press release as a news story, you could at least try not to make it sound like that’s what you’re doing. Jeebus!
A better shot

Thanks again
I tried that, but got the red cross box when I previewed. Thought it might come up when I posted, but alas…
Strange...
Dunno what happened then. If you enter an URL the .jpg has to be on the end… And if you click on the reply button you reply directly to omeone else. Usefull if you react on someone in the middle of the thread
Trying another one
but it’s not looking good, even with .jpg on the end. Maybe it’s my computer’s settings…will ask the digitally inclined one when she gets home.
In the meantime:

This one’s the team jersey. Arashiro was the U23 champion.

Yes, for images use the address that ends in .jpg (or .gif, .png)
You (z1) used the page address, not the actual image address. Like Frinking said: right-click the image, copy the URL (address) from there.
Thanks
DIdn’t work that way either. The computer’s security blocks the pop-up box, maybe that’s it. My partner’s PC, so I guess I just have to live with it.
Don’t think Yahoo! Japan lasted very long as a sponser – remember hearing they had trouble getting permission from Yahoo! to use the name.
