It's that time of day again to cheer on the boys riding the Zurich 6 day! Daniel Holloway, a favorite of many of us here in the US, is having a blast and as we found out yesterday, will do magical things for us here at the Cafe - like go and get Franco on screen for Zoe! Woot!

Too bad I can’t join. Still I am very happy to announce that I am in 3 contests where the prize consists of tickets to the Rotterdam Sixday. I’ve got Tedvdv to join one too and I’m sure Frinking will too. It would be very nice to have a PdC delegation present there. I would so wear my PdC Snuggie! Stand Up!

Was fairly drunk last year when watched this,
can’t remember much else than stand up.
Is the loud noise the sprint round?

Just don’t ever ask Daniel and company if they don’t give 100%. These are exhausting hard nights for racing. And to Risi’s full credit, the man kicks ass on the 6day circuits.

But I think that’s reserved for the UCI event: 3 men form a standing start.
About 10 sec for a lap
Pay attention to the first pacing and the handsling, the difference is apparent when a really good team goes.
That looked like a really strong sling
but that could also mean that the pacing wasn’t fast enough. 10.64 was it?
Last lap that single rider goes is what is clocked.

Forgive me for being a grump but I need a hug.
I’ve just had a big argument with my Mother. I never argue with my mother and when it happens once in a blue moon it really really upsets me. So ridiculous to have an argument about a cross bike but there we go. She thinks that if I ride it even when there’s a tiny bit snow, on the grass, I’m going to have a life threatening accident. The more I try and tell her that races happen in the snow the more defensive she gets. The she told me she was ‘shocked’ at me! And it’s all about how it would make her feel, nothing to do with me and the fact that I have an independent life. I mean, every man and his dog is out on a cross bike in the UK at the moment. I don’t like being spoken to as if I’m still 5. Sorry, needed a rant. Not in a good mood.
So you crash and have some road rash. You'll live.

There’s conflicting info, but it is DEFINITELY earlier than the last five days have been…
Here it says 13:30 – 19:00 local, here is says 13:30 – 19:00 local.
Now, for me that’s a very-late-night job, finishing at 5am. I’m gonna try to show up for the last hour. But in case I don’t make it, I’m sure that you kind people will provide great commentary and interesting screenshots to fill me in ;-) (pretty please?)
