Where did Lopex's Rabobank Post Go?

Honestly, I have no idea. I was enjoying the commentary too. Lopex, if you took it down for some reason, that's your right. Otherwise, all I can think of is my kids stole my laptop. Drew denies responsibility, for what it's worth. Anyway, we've never had a story disappear before, so I'd love to untangle the mystery.

A story of Frinking's went missing about a week ago too,

although perhaps he took it down?

hmm Maybe he was given a tasp on the shoulder from his Rabo work, and was asked politely to take it down

It seems the Teams are watching at the moment..

well

I certainly don’t mind. I just am wondering.

I love a good mystery :)

Spot on

I got carried away in my enthusiasm. I shouldn’t have posted it like that. My bad. I enjoyed the commentary too. But sometimes the Podium Cafe feels so much like a real Cafe that one forgets that the whole world is watching. Lesson learned…

Football is a game, cycling a sport.

Bugger. I hope that it was taken in the spirit it was intended...

ie., we like Rabobank and would like to learn more.

Hear hear!

Oh and Rabo, if you’re listening – I liked the advertisements on Aussie TV during the Tour ;-).

Well, OK, if I’m honest about it then I have to admit that they were getting a bit ‘old’ by about Stage 10. But then, all of the advertisements that were running during the Tour broadcast had lost their charm by then. So here’s Lou’s Hot Tip for next year – give us a different advertisement for each week of the Tour. Maybe have them linked in some way – a story in three parts.

OMG, I can’t believe that I’m drivelling on at length about how Rabo can improve their Aussie advertising campaign… I’m over-tired… I think I’d better go to bed before this gets seriously disturbing…

You may be overtired, but you're right ;)

I’m a big Rabo fan these days, myself.

he'd enjoy that I'm sure

especially because I believe “ventoso” is windy, the adj form, and the noun for wind “el viento”. You know, in case you ever get to tell him in real life

unless there is a meme I am missing? Does fringlish have a spanish cousin?

Agent Lopex. . .

Now that you know that big brother will be watching what you’re up to maybe you should change your alias. ;-)

I actually found it a really interesting thread

I didn’t really know much about Rabobank (apart from the cycling) and so for me it was a good chance to learn more about one of the major sponsors. I’m not really in the market for new banking products right now, but Rabo have definitely solidified as a serious option for me based on a couple of things I learned right here. The cafe triumphs again :)

I'm built for descending...

I was wondering about this post the other day.

For a second I thought I hallucinated it, but I’m glad I’m not hallucinating about Rabobank. That’d be weird.

yeah made me a rabobank fan too.

i already liked their kits. And now i’m thinking of switching banks to caisse d’epargne.

by yeehoo on Dec 24, 2009 4:30 AM EST reply actions

uh, just to be clear

switch to caisse from a normal private bank (without a cycling team)

by yeehoo on Dec 24, 2009 4:34 AM EST reply actions

Truly, the Rabo advertising department will chalk this up as a victory

…they have inspired you to ditch your current bank in favour of Caisse. Good job! Bet the champagne is flowing ;-)

This

is eerily consistent with some of their race plans…
