So, Garmin announced their roster today and Tom Zirbel's name isn't on the list - I (and others on Facebook) thought they'd signed Zirbel back in September, looked it up and found this CN article for instance - so is it just a mistake or did something change between September and now? Anyone know?

Naw...Nothing changed. It was probably just a misprint.

Though it is kind of suprising that they have Matt Wilson who didn’t sign too long ago on there when they forgot Zirbel.

It is not a misprint

There is some sort of problem. Don’t know what it is but other team members know something

That might not be a misprint...

CQ only had him as a probably on there roster so he might have not gotten back on the team

searching Google Blog search

came up with this page/article in Dutch, where in the article it reads (Google translate):

Tom Zirbel * According to earlier reports, Garmin signed a contract, but the American strangely missing on the list. Why is not known.

and in the comments it then has (posted by the website editor):

Sorry everyone – have holiday brain. Updated release with important changes follows. Aldus de persvoorlichtster van Garmin Aldus de persvoorlichtster van Garmin (Thus the press spokeswoman for Garmin)

I take that to mean that the website editor tried to contact Garmin’s press person who claims there was a mistake, and that there is to be an updated press release at some point? (though I haven’t yet seen the updated release, perhaps tomorrow or Monday?)

The "Updated Release"

The updated release still does not have Zirbel on it:

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
