Fashion Alert! New Kit for Cervélo TestTeam

Black is the new black! Cervélo TestTeam has a new kit for the coming year. It will be black. With black. Gerard Vroomen explained that the black kits make the team easy to spot in the bunch. Unlike the hordes of blue kitted teams which all look the same. Bah! Cervélo has retained the Giant é symbol as the team's logo, and in fact, the é appears to have grown larger. Castelli will supply the kits for the 2010 season. Yay for black shorts!
Source is Carlossastre.com. I snarfed the photo from Sastre, too.

I'll see your Cervelo, and raise you...

More pics
on the *Lotto site, but none that answer the all-important question: “What color are the shorts?”

Your thread has its own entertainment value.
This is the classy one.

question is, are they going to switch to white for the tdf, like they did this year?

It didn't sound like it
The Castelli marketing bit was all about how their materials are great for all temperatures and such. But who knows, lol, it’ll give us some suspense.
Did they mention the bit about white shorts being 6% cooler during July?
Or are they saving that for the Tour press conference? God, that would ruin my summer.
I mean uh... hasn't that ever occurred to you, man? Sir?
I think they paid attention to the white fabric, too.
Don’t remember any transparency, even when GHH won Stage 13 in the rain.
It was just a long race--Edvald Boasson Hagen, on the Giro
and you would remember that right?
;)

I wouldn't have to remember.
It would be my screen saver.

I saw a transparent black short when I was on a ride this summer
From behind. That which has been seen cannot be unseen.
It didn't kill you
so it must have made you stronger.

This, I believe,
is why Swedes are known for their furniture.

When I think 'Sweden'
I think of very, very sexy pliers.
The greater emphasis on red clearly indicates that Cervelo is run by commies!
at least if you’re using Glen Beck logic.
Look, it's a bird...no, it's a plane....oh never mind it's just fucking balloon boy
Looks quite sharp yet again...
Doesn’t matter if it is white or black, as long as it isn’t see through then it is all right.
I'll give it
4 stars. Like the red stripe (something you’ll never hear me say in a bar). But it’d be more daring if they went back to the black top and kept the white shorts.

Black top and White Shorts
Wouldn’t that look like the 1977 White Sox? Don’t forget collars and wide lapels.
I like this kit too…easily one of the best out there.

2009:

So the differences are not that big. Slightly smaller é on the sleeves, very slightly bigger é on the body, red accents moved from collar & sleeves to chest.
On another note...SRAM components.

I noticed this...I wished they had stayed on Shimano but these days it doesn't really matter too much, it is all good stuff.
Though I am going to get very annoyed when I read magazines.
