Pereiro Confirmed for Astana for 2010
ED: Not the hugest deal, but I have gotten some requests for more front-page stories so the Radio Shack kit gets pushed down further. Bottom line: Contador seems to have weighed in on the matter, and if Astana are smart (an open question), they will give the Boss what he wants/needs.

good for him
it’s always sad to see riders retire due to lack of contract rather than desire.

Ah, this makes me happy on both counts :-)
Very glad that Oscar will be making benefit for the glorious nation next year… and ever so grateful that I no longer have… that… staring at me when I open the front page…
Good for him.
It’s not his fault he was a victim of the circumstances when he was elevated to Tour winner, therefore never really considered “the winner”, as if had won outright.
Hopefully he’ll put in some good work for AC and make the expected Astana-The Shack battle more interesting.
Racing for Victory and Free Beer!
I knew that was coming !
AC needs more horses and Periero in his historically more normal role is a good GT teammate. You can bet there were a few phone calls from Madrid that straightened the whole situation out.
I waited a half an hour to give my two toddlers breakfast until I had my Eneco tour coverage sorted, then made sure I got them fed before the sprint. --- Bought With Blood. ..... That photo is just too awesome for words
He's imagining his teammates' joyful surprise
when they’re issued the new Vino-face kit.
It was just a long race--Edvald Boasson Hagen, on the Giro
I think that it would be a good choice of kit
It would help to remind people, in case they start getting forgetful again ;-) (about why the team exists, that is)
