JB/LA on image rebuilding?
has no one told this two that once something's in print, it doesn't go away? what is this? revisionist history?
"I always had in mind that the strongest rider would win the Tour, and that made my job easier," he [JB] added. "Alberto was the strongest guy. I also knew that Lance was realistic enough, and he's enough of a team player to accept when someone else is in a better position."

If rebuilding is the goal
then someone ought to tell them that they’d achieve more by STFU. There is nothing that they can say at this stage that will not make the situation worse.
And now I have this song stuck in my head. There are worse things… although Cee-Lo’s voice makes for an insidious ear-worm :-).
About what?
My observation about JB/LA ‘image rebuilding’? – yeah, I cannot imagine what they could possibly say that would redeem them (or, actually I could – but it would only redeem them in the eyes of myself and a small minority.. and it would only redeem them a little – like, along the lines of “better just an arsehole than a lying arsehole”, you know?).
The song? – hell yeah, I’ve been humming it to myself alllll day long ;-). Ain’t gonna let ‘em take the O out my joy, before you can rebuild you’ve got to destroy…
Well then, the lads have some advice for you
at the end of the first verse…
Hit rewind if your ass didn’t hear me clear
;-)
I have learned never to listen to your 'music' selections..
They remind me of how old I am or perhaps just how limited in taste ;)

Garn, be game!
You will be surprised, on occasion. My taste is rather broad. Remember that as a kid I was taught to refer to Tchaikovsky as ‘Uncle Peter’ ;-). (admittedly, the link above is hip-hop again… but probably a bit more tolerable for you than NWA was, LOL. And Cee-Lo can actually sing… rather well, too. Distinctive voice. Most of the harmonies over the narrative there are actually Cee-Lo. He starts at about 0:45, if you’re game ;-) )
Dirt music queen here.
Embarrassingly for a teacher, I suffer from industrial deafness… imagine what my classes are like, so acoustic music has a clarity lacking in other music. I’m also fanatical about lyrics. Big surprise that I bet?
