US riders score well at Copenhagen.
Hey gang. I'm sure we have all heard by now how well Taylor Phinney has done this weekend in Copenhagen.
Great riding by him - huge congrats on the records!
I want to give a huge shout out to Daniel Holloway as well. He scored a BRONZE in the Men's Scratch Race Final!
Way to go Daniel! For those who like track, this is the same event Meatball scored Gold in last December in Beijing. The results are all up in the story link. Here's also a link to Garmin's site.
Here is Daniel's blog.
Keep an eye out for his updates. If you have some time, read up on his adventures in the recent 6-days he attended. Those of us that watched some of the streaming last month, we know how fun those can be. Great talent and I think he is a rider to keep a good eye on in the future. He won both the opening and finishing crit stages last year in the Tour of PA. He transfers the track power well to the road crits and is great to talk with at races too.
Huge congrats Daniel!

Here's the only vid I could find of Phinney's ride
in the final, the 4:19 not the 4:15 from qualifying round.

that final stage of tour de PA was darn near neutralized
Put on hold, cut short, people dropping out of contention. Due to crashes in downpour with thunder, dowgusts and slick “slippery-faced” brick.

And on the 6 day front
today sees the start of Hasselt, which is the last one of the season. No viseo that I know of but you can get results in pretty much real time here.
