Benna exclusive: "Me? A sex symbol?"
Girls, you would not believe how excited I was upon arriving in my local newsagent and spotting this month's Cycle Sport, for in the bottom left hand corner I espied the joyous words "Daniele Bennati" and "exclusive interview". And what a luuuuverly picture on page 42 :-O~.................
But what gems of wisdom came from the mouth of our Tuscan hero? Well, one quote nearly made me fall off the sofa:
Bennati on...female fans
"Me? A sex symbol? I didn't know.... I suppose it's nice, but my objective is to win races, not to win beauty contests"
Excuse me, he didn't know? Well blow me down. Has he not looked in the mirror recently? And has he never read any of our threads? Really, I thought CycleGirl had told all the riders under the sun about the Cafe!
I heartily recommend the purchasing of a copy...or maybe two so that you can cut out the picture on page 42 for your bedroom wall/office wall. Amazingly for hottitude fans, Boonen is also interviewed and he's looking rather, er, hot too.
Albertina is happy :-)

Oh I'm going to newsagent today!!
Oh it probably won’t arrive here for another week or two :-(
He is just being shy about it!! He knows he HOT!! I’m sure he has googled his name!!
We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.

and Benna
Being our number one Hottitude isn’t just winning a beauty contest, It means so much more….
and to start the Bennalanche
OK time for work!

lol
So now we know for sure that someone at CycleSport reads the Cafe ;-)
Funny, that Benna, so modest. Doesn’t he know that winning races only adds to the hottitude?
Forza Daniele!
Somebody really must read the Cafe. I mean, the article could actually have been written by us.
The first paragraph reads:
“Meet Daniele Bennati, the nicest guy in the peloton. He’s the kind of cyclists thousands of female fans would just love to take home to introduce to the parents”. Yes, so true that.
Then one of the photo captions reads: “Hands off ladies, Bennati likes to stay in and polish his halo”. I mean, is this writer tyring to address us directly?
Also, there is a whole fashion article on team kits. Priceless.
not too surprising, tho
that he is at home polishing his halo. he is married, and by all accounts a devout catholic. lol, that pretty rules out partying with the groupies.
but me, i’m just enjoying the scenery :-)
It was quite a funny pic actually.
He had some sort of circular light above his head which really did look like a halo! Or maybe it was. Yes, he’s very well behaved it would appear. He also has a six month old baby to look after nowadays. He mentions a bit about religion in the interview but is quite reluctant to talk about it…seems very personal to him and he’s not an in your face evangelist. He really is so nice it makes you sick, but oh so lovely!
Oh that kit works so well
against Benna’s Italian, Tanned skin!!!!

By the way,
if Benna doesn’t want to be a sex symbol, Boonen appears willing to try out for the role.
Please.
Anyone inhabiting Tommeke’s level of hottitude does not need to audition.
Google is my domestique.
When they post a pic like that
perhaps it’s a good idea not to have “mjohnson” in the url. It might lead people to the conclusion that the legs were not the focus of the image.
OHHH My!!! Lovely
Only one of many reasons I enjoy cycling!
