Tour of California Finale... LIVE!

I firmly believe that today is a day for an enterprising rider to make an effort to steal the race. But is anyone stronger than Levi Leipheimer? Does anyone else have the team to do it? Hm... all I can come up with is Jani Brajkovic, or maybe Chris Horner. Hey, I can dream.

Uh Oh
Hopefully the sprinkles wont last long. I’m less than an hour from where you are, sprinkled here earlier then stopped after just a couple of minutes.

cyclingnews is up
11:54 PST
Today it’s beautiful weather – in the upper 60s and lower 70s (degrees Fahrenheit). It’s still overcast, but the clouds are darker than yesterday. With a 10 percent chance of rain and Southern California’s micro-climates, it’s possible that we could see some showers today at the higher elevations.

Hey veloki, be on the lookout for jimbo, (and jimbo for veloki ! )
jimbo twittered 2 hrs ago:

Photo finish
Anyone else see the photo on http://www.cyclingfans.com of yesterday’s stage finish? I remember yesterday that the photo finish was blurry and there was some question as to who won. This photo nails it.
I hope it doesn't rain...

Other than Andy Schleck,
Is there anyone in that group that can hold a lead once they hit Palomar. Seems to me like most of these guys would need at least 2 or 3 minutes at the bottom if they didn’t want to get caught before the top. Andy Schleck might be able to do it with only a minute. But if he drops the rest going up, He’ll have a long trip home.
