Dave Zabriskie's House Burglarized During the Tour of California

Dave Zabriskie's home was burglarized while he was at the Tour of California competing last week. Bits and pieces of news are coming out about it. Zabriskie posted about it on his twitter. USA Cycling has tweeted that Dave collected Marvel Comic statues (he doesn't call them statues but I can't think of the correct name right now.) There's a few videos of him talking and showing them off on his Youtube channel. He's a big comics fan. He went to ComiCon in one of his videos.

I am imaging he had a lot of valuabel and sentimental items that were stolen besides the obvious. How heartbreaking.

Dave also tweeted that he got a speeding ticket while driving home from California. Poor guy. I can only imagine how violated and angry Dave and his wife feel right now.

The young man that demolished my beloved Subaru got a bit of attitude when i gave him my little ‘consequences of actions’ talk when i went round to discuss adequate compensation for my loss…I hope to see him alone some day….had i not been recovering from delicate surgery, he’d be all lumpy now.
