Thanks swells

Sounds like they managed to kept it vertically stiff and laterally compliant, or… um… maybe the other way around… for under $4000. You know, I think it’s time for me to stop wishing and start making something happen on this whole Pinarello thing. Actually, I may just drop them altogether and test ride that sweet Time they have at my LBS…

Yeah, that Time is pretty sweet.

I just gotta hard spot about dropping that much coin on something French.

Seriously

Unless you are just plain rich, those things are nutty expensive, French or whatever… the frame is in the $6000 plus range all by itself. But if I do manage to pull off a test ride, I will put together a full blown Pez-like review for you all to enjoy.

Do they actually allow you to touch those things?

… or is it like showing up at the BMW dealer in torn jeans and Birkenstocks?

Sure

They will let you hop on and ride away, usually. If they don’t know you, you just leave a driver’s license, or a testicle or something…

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
