Paris-Nice Stage 3... LIVE!

Paris-nice-live_medium Another somewhat flat stage, though the Col de la Bosse could be a wildcard, a cat-3 7km climb that may shed a few riders in the middle of the race. Otherwise, it's the usual question of whether the inevitable escape will make it to Vichy before the sprinters do.

Have fun!

Couple of DNS reported
Ireland’s Daniel Martin (Garmsin-Slipstream), who had been sick for a few days, Spain’s Jose Angel Gomez Marchante (Cervelo), involved in a crash yesterday, and Dutchman Joost Postuma (Rabobank) did not start. France’s Remi Pauriol (Cofidis) broke his collarbone and did not finish yesterday.

Haussler will be in green today, Aitor Hernandez in polka dots, and Tony Martin in white. The accountant in yellow.

Long way to go in the cold, pouring rain.

Bad enough for the ones who at least grab some glory at the end, but I wouldn’t blame Joe Peloton for thinking about a nice, cozy desk job right now.

Could be snowing,

like it’s done in the past. Agree with you though, I think I’d rather ride in snow than 45F and rain. That’s pure hypothermia weather.

Most miserable riding ever. Luckily there was a train into the city to be had. Snow and cold is a cakewalk compared to chilly and rainy.

yesterday we were able to watch the belgian site’s live video streaming here in france, but not today. Funny all the french were applauding the belge station for the streaming, saying the french stations should learn to follow the belges’ good example. And today, well … that’ll show em! And i was ready with my earphones today to listen while “working”.

He did well in the Rabo Cont squad but moved to Skil this season. I hope he will get some nice results this year. And he isn’t in the VDS so I don’t have to be sorry that I didn’t pick him if he does.
