So I’d say that might be a bit much.

So,
What were Rabo doing exactly? Trying to bust Bert and Evans for some GC time before the big mountains?

I guess I respect them for trying!
…and making the race more interesting than it would otherwise be, by a longshot. I was expecting a snoozer today. Still it will probably end in a sprint though. Sigh.

He's got to be a lil tired now
after all he’s done in the last couple of weeks. Dood is looking like a future classics star to me.

So
What are the chances a Rabo rider wins anything today? Who were they working for again?

You may very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment.
That, or job-hunting...
…or tying to see if they can get out of radio range to make the screaming stop.
Despite the fact that Bert's on my VDS...
This is kind of delicious.

Who says that
racing isn’t exciting and that Astana makes all formulaic?
Would love to hear the talks around the team tables tonight!
+1
Well, um, Astana got burned to the ground today.
Bert must be wondering
If his team will do this to him in the Tour too! But then again LA would be there working for him, not to mention a few others. That’d make a bit of a difference. But still I bet he’s pissed off.

If I were Bert I'd be incandescent
And wondering how much Lance paid them to sandbag me.
Heh. Funny!
Yep. Then again, I suspect LA would not have let himself get caught out like Bert did today. At some point if you are the leader you need to ride like it, no matter what the team does. Bert was inattentive today at best, and not strong enough for the conditions at the least

Indeed he did.
Schooled. Rabo ripped him a new one. But he’ll be good and pissed off in the mtns now, should be good to watch! I’m betting he pulls a Sastre and launches a biiiig one during the final climb of the queen stage.

Now I really can't wait until the mountains
Usually Albert just has to keep up and explode at the end. Now, he’s going to have to strike early and often
Juanma Garate harder though

Burghardt was the last guy I dropped from my VDS team.

Yay--third Justin.tv link works for me.
Was getting worried—I’ve been following along in a Panera, with fairly slow internet, waiting to watch the last 10 K on video. Then I couldn’t load the first two links…

I don't think so
unless the time bonus was 1 or 2 seconds. I suspect somehow it was more than that.
Good for Chavanel.
I like him, even if he’s not on my team. No points for me today! And with only 5 guys in the race, probably no more for Paris-Nice. But I’m stacked for T-A.

atleats they didn't sit and watch Astana protect Bert all day

they didn't show it yesterday either
still, given the price, I can’t complain too much, eh?
In other news...
Haussler won the bunch sprint.
Damn!
I wish all "flattish" stages were like that one.
That was really something! TdF, take note. Teams, take note. Sponsors, take note. UCI, take note.
